Quality control officer in goods acceptance
We are looking for a quality control officer who, reporting directly to the warehouse manager, will ensure that incoming materials from suppliers and customer returns comply with the company's quality and technical standards, through visual, dimensional and functional checks, helping to maintain the efficiency of the logistics process and customer satisfaction.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
1. Check the accompanying documentation of suppliers (bills, delivery notes, etc.);
2. Perform visual checks on incoming materials and returns (customers and suppliers);
3. Carry out dimensional checks using measuring instruments (caliper, pads, micrometers, etc.);
4. Carry out functional checks on critical suppliers and strategic materials;
5. Manage acceptance activities on customer and supplier returns;
6. In close collaboration with the Quality Manager, record the checks performed and fill in non-conformities when necessary, proposing improvement actions if necessary;
7. Handling and locating materials in the warehouse through the use of a pallet truck or electric forklift, with the support of the handheld.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: possession of a technical diploma (mechanical, mechatronics or equivalent) is appreciated;
2. Previous experience, even brief, in quality control or testing roles in the metalworking field, preferably in companies specializing in components and spare parts;
3. Knowledge of measuring and control instruments (caliper, pads, micrometers, comparators, etc.), knowledge of the main dimensional and geometric tolerances, ability to read technical drawings.
4. Good use of computer systems.
5. Possession of a valid forklift driving license.

Insertion:
An initial fixed-term contract is offered for 6/12 months, a classification to be evaluated on the basis of the candidate's real experience.
